About

Aphrodite was born of sea foam.

Afrodita Roa takes her name from the goddess of beauty, born where the Aegean meets the shore. The spa is built around that idea — that wellbeing begins in water.

The name

Beauty, born of the sea.

In the old myth, Aphrodite rises fully formed from the foam of the Aegean — beauty as something the sea gives, not something made. Afrodita Roa is built on that lineage: 1,800 square metres where seawater, steam, salt and snow do the work the myth described.

It sits within Pomegranate Wellness Spa Hotel in Nea Potidea, Halkidiki — a stretch of coast that has welcomed travellers seeking the water's restoration for as long as anyone has kept count.

Beauty, born of the sea.

02

Whole traditions

The Byzantine hammam, Finnish and Russian saunas, the Egyptian rasul — kept complete, not abbreviated into a single 'wet area'.

03

For everyone

Open to hotel guests and day visitors alike, in three languages, with rituals adapted to each body that arrives.
